Cape Coral Restaurants
Fine Dining

Do you remember that you are coming to Cape Coral to relax? Part of that mindset is to stay casual as much as possible. Which is why you won't find that many upscale, dressy restaurants here. But if you feel compelled to go a little fancier, here's our favorites.

Turtle Club (239) 592-6557, 9225 Gulfshore Dr, Naples. Dave’s taken me here a couple of times on special occasions. Excellent food and wine served in view of astonishing sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. Call ahead for reservations and ask for a window on the water.

Veranda (239) 332-2065, 2122 2nd St, Fort Myers. When we want to indulge ourselves, we visit this charming and elegant restaurant in downtown Ft. Myers without our children. Located in a renovated historic Florida home, we have dined both indoors and out and found it to be a true culinary delight. If the weather is right, try the courtyard as it is charming. (more . . .)

Windows on the Water (239)395-6014, 1451 Middle Gulf Dr., Sanibel. This is a beautiful restaurant in the SunDial resort on the beach in Sanibel. We enjoy sunset over dinner and the Sunday brunch buffet. (more . . . )

Not a big enough selection for you? Remember, if you are looking for Zagat rated restaurants in the Cape Coral area, you have to search under Miami neighborhoods. Also, try searching under Naples, Florida, as more people who think dressing up is fun stay there.
