K C’s River Stop

K C’s River Stop is the only Cape Coral restaurant at the Yacht Club Beach – so we’re glad it’s good! The beach and K C’s is a boating or driving destination in Cape Coral for fun, sun, fuel, bait and food.

My family has been eating at K C’s River Stop for the past seven years and we enjoy it every time. It’s beach food . . . with or without the sand as you choose.

You can take your meal to the beach or eat it on their patio tables. They have the usual snack shop fare – burgers, dogs, nachos, shrimp, fries, sodas and beer. My boys like the kids menu and are diligent eaters here to get the candy and popsicles for dessert at the end of their meal.

We used to eat on the beach ‘cuz the boys hated to interrupt their play, but the seagulls have gotten pretty bold and somebody’s hotdog was always getting dumped in the sand. So now, I usually play with the kids on the beach while my husband goes up to K C’s patio orders the food and secures a table for us. When the food’s ready he either calls on the cell phone or just yells (classy, huh?) for everyone to come on up and eat. If you don’t have a cell phone and plan to use the our yell method, make sure to set up your beach things close to the fishing pier and K C’s patio.

Betty and her friendly staff run a great snack shop with consistently good beach food. If you are spending a day at the Cape Coral Yacht Club beach, be sure to try it.
