Paesano's Italian Market

If you are looking for excellent quality meat and delicious baked goods in Cape Coral, Paesano’s is a quaint and refreshing change from the run-of-the-mill grocery stores. Tucked away off of Cape Coral Parkway near the yacht club, this is the place to go for your grilling needs as well as tasty, freshly prepared meals.

Paesano’s interior is decorated like an outdoor Italian market complete with balconies with flower boxes and laundry hanging on the line. Very fun! They maintain pretty unfriendly hours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day – but are worth the inconvenience. If you go within 10 minutes of closing they sometimes discount their baked goods.

We enjoy their ready-to-eat meatballs in sauce with pasta and their delicious bread. Their homemade red pasta sauce is delicious, too. All of their meat products are high quality and we appreciate the convenience of their pre-seasoned meats ready to place on a hot grill as well as the freshly-made shish-ka-bobs.

They have an interesting selection of wine, pasta and specialty items such as crackers, olives and packaged cookies. They also have a small produce section with basic fresh fruit and everything you need for great salads. They do not stock paper goods, bottled water, Coke or Pepsi products.

I typically shop at Paesano’s for meat, bread and their freshly butchered prepackaged meals (in a refrigerator case at the back by the bakery). They have opened a café in the past year, but we haven’t tried it yet.
