Bubba's is Da Bomb

Any Restaurant that bills itself as a "Roadhouse" and is tucked away in the woods is guaranteed to draw my attention. My family and I drove to the north end of Cape Coral and there tucked away in the Mangroves and Australian pines with Racoons and other wildlife as numerous as the customers, lies the best kept Steak house grill in the area!!
Bubba's is a very casual environment where shelling peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor (and at each other) is encouraged. The brick walls and old license plates lend an aged feel to the restaurant. And it's fun to watch the always friendly and bantering waitresses write their names upside down on the table cloth so you won't forget.
The grill flame behind clear glass for viewing rose about 3 feet above the grill as our prime rib and t-bones cooked. Our children especially enjoyed watching the grill chef battle the flames as he cooked our steaks absolutely perfect.
Bubba's brings the salads out in a huge bowl and mixes them tableside so you can see all the yummy stuff going in. And the stuffed bake potatoes will stuff you for sure. Our favorite is the prime rib cooked medium rare and slathered with horseradish. But the Ribeye steak dipped in Bubba's house-made vidalia onion steak sauce is a hit also. The steak tips grilled with onions and mushrooms are incredible also.
There's the usual complete children's menu so you won't have to share your steak. And it all comes at a very affordable price. A "Bubba's Run" is part of our Cape Coral "to do" list.
