Boat Rental
Cape Coral

Cruise the area waterways with a boat rental Cape Coral

Great. You decided to take advantage of the area waterways and booked a boat rental Cape Coral or a vacation rental with its own boat – now what?

This guide is about where to go, what to do and how to get there – on the water. It also gives you an idea of what our family has found at each location and what we like to do at the various boating destinations.

Boaters only destinations we recommend include:

Other boating destinations include:

To find out how long it takes to get to many of these destinations, visit my page on boating times. For information on how to obtain a free copy of the Lee County Boater's Guide, click here.

The Caloosahatchee River is unlike anywhere we have ever boated – and we are experienced boaters. The challenge is that the shoal waters of the Caloosahatchee run just along the marked channel. Even more than other locations, boaters need to stay in the middle of the channel and watch the depth sounder.

It is not uncommon to boat past birds standing in the water – it’s that shallow just beyond the marker. To find out the charts, maps and guides you might want to have on hand during your boat rental, click here.
