Boat Rental Cape Coral - on the way to Parrot Key Restaurant

Boat rental Cape Coral gives you lots of options for where to go and what to do on the water. One of the unknowns in your planning, however, is how long it will take you to get from one destination to another.

As this is a question we are frequently asked, we set out on our Hurricane Sundeck 24 with its Johnson 200 hp 4 stroke engine. We had aboard three children, a stop watch, Subway sandwiches and a cooler full of drinks.

Below are the times we charted from Channel Marker 101 to:

  • Cabbage Key - 48 minutes
  • Cape Coral Yacht Club - 18 minutes
  • Captiva Island - 35 minutes
  • Cayo Costa - 53 minutes
  • Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel - 9 minutes
  • Picnic Island - 9 minutes
  • Public beach at the north end of Estero Island/Ft. Myers Beach - 12 minutes
  • Sanibel Bridge - 4 minutes
  • Snug Harbor or Matanza's Inn Restaurants - 21 minutes

Note that we had seas of 1' to 2' and light winds. Boat traffic on the water was light because we were out mid-week. Our captain was VERY experienced.
