There can be a long wait on weekends but you can call ahead and put your name on the waiting list. 
Bubba’s Roadhouse & Saloon (239) 282-5520, 2121 SW Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral Excellent prime rib and steak, great salads, huge potatoes AND you get to throw peanuts on the floor! Indian Palace (239) 939-2323, 11605 S Cleveland Ave # 20, Fort Myers Their curry will KILL you! Ha! It is actually a delicious dining experience. Try the complete meal for two as the soup is to die for and the dessert is really interesting. Veranda (239) 332-2065, 2122 2nd St, Fort Myers When we want to indulge ourselves, we visit this charming and elegant restaurant in downtown Ft. Myers . . . without our children. It is located in a renovated historic Florida home. We have dined both indoors and out and found it to be a true culinary delight. If the weather is right, try the courtyard as it is charming.
