Cape Coral Restaurants Working Cow
The Working Cow is a great ice cream destination for the entire family. You can visit this Cape Coral restaurant by car or boat and enjoy the fenced in playground at Four Freedoms Park right across the street.
What more could a kid want? A boat ride with ice cream at the end!
What more could a parent ask for? A boat ride with entertainment for the kids and shady benches from which to watch it all!
Can you tell I like the Working Cow? Ha! Our family has spent hours and hours at Four Freedoms Park enjoying the playground, waterfront, picnic tables and park benches.
In the spring, there are lots of baby geese and ducks around. You can even fish from the shore along the Bimini Basin.
But, my husband and I usually use it as a little down time – we can have some adult conversation while the boys run around and have a great time.
Even though the playground area is fenced in and very safe, I remain vigilant. One time someone left a gate open and my two-year-old wandered out – toward the shore. A kind mother noticed this and brought it to my attention immediately . . . but since then I have been a bit more aware of the gates.

Boating Directions Locate the Bimini canal on your
chart.
Follow the canal to the Bimini Basin (the canal forks and curves to the right – check your chart). As you enter the basin, look all the way across and to the far left (northwest) and to the right of the tallest building you see and there is a cement wall and dock where you can tie up your boat. Walk across the bank parking lot to the ice cream shop painted with cow splotches with the red and white awning.
NOTE: The Working Cow suspended operations temporarily in early 2008, but resumed service in April.
